Apple Vision Pro gets a release date, pre-orders start soon

Apple launched its inaugural mixed-reality headset, the Apple Vision Pro, last year and is now gearing up for its market release. The Cupertino-based tech giant has shared details about pre-order and availability. Starting from February 2, 2024, the Apple Vision Pro headset will be available for purchase in the US.

Pre-orders are open from January 19, 2024. Interested customers can pre-order the device through Apple Stores and the online Apple store, priced at $3,499.

For customization, ZEISS Optical Inserts are offered at $99 (US) for readers and $149 (US) for prescription inserts. The Vision Pro package includes two adjustable headbands, the minimalist Solo Knit Band, and the stability-focused Dual Loop Band. The packaging is chic and includes light seals and plush cushions to ensure a comfortable fit. The Light Seal, crafted from soft textile, adapts flexibly to the user's face for precision. Inside the Vision Pro box, users will find a protective cover for the device's front, along with the acclaimed Apple polishing cloth. The device is powered by a dedicated battery, allowing convenient charging via a USB-C cable and adapter.

Highlighting its features, the Vision Pro boasts an exceptionally high-resolution display system with 23 million pixels across two displays. The unique dual-chip design and custom Apple silicon promise an immersive, real-time experience. With Spatial Audio, users can deeply engage in their memories, accessing their entire photo library on iCloud at a life-size scale, enhancing the overall visual experience.
