Google's latest Play Store app update for Android introduces a convenient feature allowing users to uninstall applications on one device from another, extending beyond smartphones to include Wear OS smartwatches, Android TV smart TVs, and Android Auto devices.
The feature, part of Play Store version 38.8, enables remote app management across a range of devices, including smartphones, computers, smart TVs, automotive systems, and smartwatches. To utilize this functionality, ensure your devices are logged in using the same Google account. Access the feature by tapping on your profile image in the Play Store app, selecting Manage apps & devices > Manage, and choosing the device from the pop-up menu.
This allows users to remotely uninstall apps from various devices, providing a practical solution for situations where immediate access to a device is not possible. This update also allows users to uninstall multiple apps from another device, offering flexibility and efficiency. Additionally, the ability to sort apps by size or name aids in identifying and managing storage space effectively.
